Developer Agreement
This Developer Agreement ("Agreement") governs your use of the PartyLink developer portal and your publication of games on the PartyLink store. It supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict between this Agreement and the Terms of Service on developer-specific matters, this Agreement controls for developers.
By registering as a developer, uploading a game package, or requesting publication, you agree to this Agreement.

1. Eligibility and Developer Account
You must have a valid PartyLink account and meet the minimum age and legal capacity requirements in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for all activity under your developer account, including uploads, listing changes, and payout configuration.
We may limit how many games you can create based on your verification tier (for example, unverified, identity-verified, or payout-enabled). Quotas shown in the developer portal are authoritative.
2. Game Submission and Packages
Games must be submitted as encrypted PartyLink packages (".plk") or
through the upload flow specified in the developer portal. Each game
must include a valid manifest.json with accurate
metadata (including game ID, version, controller templates, player
counts, and locales).
- You represent that you own or have all rights needed to distribute the game and its assets;
- You will not upload malware, unauthorized copies of third-party works, or content that violates law or our policies;
- You are responsible for testing your game on supported PartyLink runtime versions before requesting publication.
3. Store Listings and Publication
You control draft listing information (names, descriptions, media, categories, age rating, and release scheduling) through the developer portal. A game may remain in draft, move to scheduled (coming soon), enter pending review, or become published according to the workflows we provide.
We may reject or delay publication if required assets are missing, metadata is misleading, or the game fails technical validation. Published games may be unpublished or returned to draft or scheduled status in accordance with our Terms and this Agreement.
4. Pricing, Trials, and In-App Purchases
You may offer free or paid games and configure trial play limits and in-app purchase products where supported. Prices you set are shown to players in the currency and format we display in the store. You agree that all sales are subject to our checkout, licensing, and refund rules in the Terms of Service.
In-app purchase products you create must have accurate names, prices, and redemption rules. Fields marked as immutable after creation (such as redeemability) cannot be changed to protect players who already purchased.
5. Payouts and Stripe Connect
Paid sales and eligible in-app purchases are processed through Stripe. To receive payouts you must complete Stripe Connect onboarding, including identity verification (KYC) and bank details for your selected country or region. The country you choose when creating a Connect account generally cannot be changed later.
Payout timing, platform fees, and settlement delays are configured by PartyLink and may change with notice. Stripe's terms and privacy policy also apply to payment processing. We may pause payouts if your account is under review, incomplete, or in violation of this Agreement.
6. Content Standards
Your games and store materials must not:
- Infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, or other third-party rights;
- Contain illegal content or facilitate unlawful activity;
- Include hate speech, harassment, or exploitative material targeting minors;
- Misrepresent gameplay, pricing, or platform requirements;
- Attempt to bypass PartyLink security, licensing, or sandbox restrictions.
You are solely responsible for age-appropriate content and for any ratings or descriptions you provide.
AI-generated content
If you use the platform's AI relay for your own AI services (developer-configured services called through the SDK), you are solely responsible for all content your AI service generates or returns, including its accuracy, legality, and suitability for your players. PartyLink acts only as a technical relay and performs limited automated review (for example, blocking script-like text and non-image/non-text output); PartyLink does not endorse, verify, or assume any liability for AI-generated content, and you must ensure your service, prompts, and output comply with applicable law and this Agreement.
7. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of your games and uploaded assets. You grant PartyLink a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, encrypt, distribute, display, and promote your game and listing materials as needed to operate the store and Service.
PartyLink trademarks, SDK injection model, and platform software remain our property. This Agreement does not grant you rights to use PartyLink branding except as we expressly allow in developer documentation.
8. Data and Analytics
We provide developers with aggregate store metrics (such as detail views and opens) subject to our quotas and privacy practices. You may not attempt to deanonymize player data or use the developer portal to collect information beyond what we expose to you.
Player account data, purchase records, and trial logs are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You must comply with applicable privacy laws when describing your game's data practices to players.
9. Review, Removal, and Enforcement
We may review games before or after publication. We may reject, suspend, delist, or remove games that violate this Agreement, the Terms of Service, or applicable law, or that pose security or safety risks.
Repeated or serious violations may result in developer account suspension, withheld payouts to the extent permitted by law and Stripe rules, and permanent removal from the platform.
10. Termination
You may stop publishing by unpublishing games and closing your developer activity at any time, subject to completing outstanding obligations (including chargebacks and pending settlements). We may terminate or restrict your developer access as described in the Terms of Service.
11. Disclaimers and Liability
THE DEVELOPER PORTAL AND PUBLISHING TOOLS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PARTYLINK'S LIABILITY ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF DEVELOPER SERVICES IS SUBJECT TO THE LIMITATIONS IN THE TERMS OF SERVICE.
You agree to indemnify PartyLink for claims arising from your games, your listings, or your breach of this Agreement, consistent with the indemnification section of the Terms of Service.
12. Changes to This Agreement
We may update this Agreement from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notice in the developer portal. Continued use of developer services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
